Students and faculty from across the North Star STEM
Alliance attended the 44 Nobel Conferences. At the conference participants were
able to experience lectures by top researchers in the field of environmental
science.
A special event for Alliance students on the second day of the conference was in sharing a lunchtime discussion with Margaret Jodry, who researches paleo-Indians at the Smithsonian Institution. Sixteen students from Century College participated in the discussion about the contribution of cultural identity to scientific research, interdisciplinary scientific teams, and innovative hypotheses.
