STEM Student Summit - Metropolitan State University - Friday, September 25th

If you are a student interested in science, technology, engineering or math, you won't want to miss the STEM Student Summit on Friday, September 25th. It will be a filled with interesting presentations and activities. At 9:30, Liesl Chatman from the Minnesota Science Museum will speak, at 11:00 there will be hands on activities, at 12:45 a free lunch will be provided while Amy Lindgren, author of the St. Paul Pioneer Press career column speaks, at 2:00 there will be break out presentations on everything from fractals or robots to genetics, and at 3:00 there will be a bomb show featuring exciting experiments. If you plan to attend, be one of the first 250 students to email diana.reichel@metrostate.edu before 9 a.m. on Wednesday, September 23rd. This event is sponsored by a grant from MnSCU CTL and will begin in the Founder Hall Auditorium on the St. Paul Campus. STEM students and faculty at Century College and St. Paul College have also been invited.
