University of Minnesota Computer Science Professor Joseph Konstan will discuss how new research into online communities overlaps with behavioral science and computing. For example, new studies are looking into how online community design elicits - or depresses - participation in HIV prevention efforts. Find out how can online communities can be harnessed as a creative and positive force for supporting and addressing pertinent social, political, and global issues.

Hosted by the Bell Museum of Natural History, a program of the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences, University of Minnesota
