Research opportunities at UM Twin Cities this summer
The McNair program is a great opportunity for students planning to go to graduate school in a STEM field. It includes the most intensive training for graduate school applications and testing in addition to the research experience.

Priority deadline: January 23, 2017 (They will take applications on a rolling basis after January 23rd
, and are usually looking for more STEM applications. In this case, it is better to submit a strong application a few days late than a rushed application on time.)
Multicultural Summer Research Opportunities Program (MSROP)
This program helps match students with researchers. It also offers several seminars on skills needed for research and preparation for graduate school.

This program offers research in two MnDRIVE initiatiaves: brain conditions and environmental remediation. We will choose up to 6 students. This program does not include additional workshops, but we invite these students to join in the evening social activities of the MSROP program.

Life Sciences Summer Research Opportunity Program - LSSURP
This is a summer program which combines all the biology-based Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) programs at the UMTC.
Deadline is February 15.
