 Tekne Awards]

The MHTA hosts each fall the Tekne Awards for technology innovation in Minnesota. Awards range across technological applications, from manufacturing innovation to service, teaching and executive leadership. MHTA invites corporations to host students at their tables. Eleven North Star STEM Alliance students and two faculty attended the event on Thursday, October 30, 2009. More information on the Tekne awards can be found at www.tekneawards.org.

Students are also invited to attend the 2009 spring conference, planned this year for Wednesday, April 15, 2009. Contact your site coordinator if interested in attending. View the 2008 conference program.

Institutional Scope

MHTA supports the growth, sustainability and global competitiveness of Minnesota's technology-based economy through advocacy, collaboration and education. Technology growth and the sustainability of this growth impact Minnesota’s overall economy now more than ever before. MHTA is the only association that advocates for technology growth that benefits the entire spectrum of technology companies as well as organizations that are dependent on technology.
