LSAMP Activity
North Star Scholars Program
- Scholars will provide peer tutoring to General Biology and College Algebra students.
- Eligible students will have the opportunity to participate in undergraduate research.
- NHCC will create a "STEM Scholar" seminar series that will focus on success in STEM disciplines. Seminar presentations will include study skills, careers in STEM, research by students and faculty, meetings with other North Star STEM Alliance scholars at sister institutions, and graduate student panels. Scholars will plan to meet one afternoon a week throughout the academic year.
