To meet the challenge of doubling the number of underrepresented graduates in STEM fields, Stokes Alliances across the nation offer programs and opportunities aimed at helping students just like you to succeed academically by inviting you to be a member of the STEM community.

Introduction to Student Involvement in the North Star STEM Alliance

Ways to get involved:

Apply to be a North Star Fellow or a North Star Scholar.

You may also apply for funding to travel to a national meeting or professional society meeting.

Attend events such as:

• Fall Kick Off at the Science Museum of Minnesota
• Nobel Conference at Gustavus Adolphus College
• North Star STEM Alliance Research Symposium
• North Star AISES (American Indian Science and Engineering Society) Alliance
• Institution-specific gatherings--found on individual partner pages.
