College and major

University of Minnesota College of Science and Engineering, Major: Chemical Engineering

Short biography

I lived my whole life in Brazil. When it was time to go to college, I decided to go study in the U.S. because I wanted to do research. I wanted to be able to apply the theory I learned in a project with a tangible outcome. This is also the reason I decided to study chemical engineering, because of its vast and diverse research field. Right now I not sure about what I will do with my major, so I am using my research experience to help me figure it out.

Research and collaborators

I am working with professor Eray Aydil, of the CEMS department. He is working in a big project with Professor Campbell of ECE to develop an improved solar cell. I am currently working on a reactor that will deposit one of the many membranes that are part of this solar cell.
