Short biography

I am a sophomore here at the University of Minnesota. I would like to attend a professional school after my undergraduate years. In the past, I have done PSEO at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, which helped me get a head start in college. I am currently involved in activities on and off campus such as North Star Stem Alliance, Dean’s Scholars in CBS, Ethiopian Students Association, MAPS, Big Brothers Big Sisters and others.

Research and collaborators

This summer I am conducting a research with the supervision of Professor Janet Dubinsky in the Department of Neuroscience. I am analyzing the behavior of R6/2 and Q140 mice which are mice with Huntington’s Disease. Behavioral analysis on these mice will help us to further analyze the progression of Huntington’s Disease in humans.
