2013 Sustainability Symposium

The University of Minnesota is proud to host the 2013 Sustainability Symposium! Graduate, professional, and undergraduate students will have the opportunity to present research engaged with issues of sustainability. The symposium invites work from a range of disciplines, from arts and humanities, to the natural and physical sciences, design, policy, and planning.

Submissions will be accepted within three distinct categories:

  • Poster: Display and present a conference poster that communicates your research or other sustainability-related work.
  • Art or multi-media work: Creative work that is focused upon a sustainability issue, may include visual art, music, video, or a multi-media piece.
  • Lightning talk: Give a short (2 min or less) and well-crafted presentation on your work and its contribution to a sustainability issue.

All graduate, professional, and undergraduate students are eligible to present. The deadline for abstract submission is March 8th.

The symposium will be held Friday, April 5th in the Learning and Environmental Sciences Building on the Saint Paul campus.
